When you left me, you took me with you
My heart, my soul
You have yet to give it back
My heart, my soul
Shunning me away, calling me a liar
Saying you can’t trust me
When I say I love you
You don’t love me back
For years I have loved you
Proven it over and over again
Giving you no reason not to trust me
You will always have part of me with you
Whether you believe it or not
My heart, my soul

when your best friend leaves you, you don't know what to do. I was in a bit of shock at first. this really happened, as is with almost all poems. I really hope you enjoy.
