Can't You Hear Me?
I scream in silence.
Dying to tell my secrets.
I go mad
Keeping everythign inside.
Fear is my shield,
Protecting me from sharing all.
The ghost of my former self
Haunts
The place I once called home.
She acts the way I'm supposed to act,
While the music of
Tears
Hitting fabric sings me to sleep
Each night.
I suffocate here.
Breathe in hollow breaths.
No release.
No comfort.
I cry out.
But no one hears me.
I beg for condolence.
And yet,
I get nothing.
For I am but a ghost.
A black bird
With broken wings.
