When winter was fun

Winter was so fun
When I was still a kid
Looking back laughing
At all the things we did
Shaking up the presents
And sneaking one more cookie
Laughing with my mom
When she let us play hooky
Sister never told when I broke
A Christmas light or
How we waited up
For Santa of Christmas Eve night
Playing in the snow
Was always so much fun
I’ll always have the memory
When winter time was fun
