Far Worse Off Than You
There's pain deep inside of me
But I deny it's there
I feel as though I shouldn't hurt
Because there's greater pain elsewhere
There are people starving,
Fighting for their life
But I have plenty food,
Never have to dodge a knife
But pain is pain
And that's the truth
Even though I have a home
When some don't have a roof
Nobody should be in pain
Although some are worst than most
Everybody should be healing
And have the right to boast
I feel as though some pains
Are far worse off than mine
But I am hurting too
So that should be a sign
A sign that screams out
'I need some help, too'
Don't just neglect my pain
Because they're far worse off than you
