Caves
Dark, dark, dark
Entombed inside
A scene from the woods
The trees form a mold, a frame
Taking on the dark, mysterious
Enfolded in a shell, the zipper is stuck
Mighty are the bonds that hold
Tightening an unbreakable tie
The black, tough, iron bark weighs and pulls down
Break, break through
A chink, a hole, a bight
Light, sun, fire
Peek through the window, see the world
Shed, peel, pull don’t let go, keep on trying
Open the lock, show the key, give, share
Trust and live. Open the lock
Let go
Fly, soarm breathe free, live alive
Be known, be happy and laugh
Have fun, enjoy, be real, love the light
Go out, get out, be out, live out
The dark invades, the shell is lowered
Encasing, fossilizing
Trapped in unyielding darkness
