Memories
The days we spent
are engraved in my mind
Yet they slip through my fingers
Like our sweet love.
Did I go through my days, dazed by our passion?
Did your eyes melt me into a trance?
Why is it so hard to hold onto you?
I miss your voice.
I miss the contours of your neck.
I miss the smell of your shirt
as it clutched your body
cut from exquisite, Grecian marble.
Yet you vanish from my mind
Even in my dreams, you are not mine.
