Retired Ring-leader
I see her standing there, her ever present group surrounding her, wishing for everyone to see them so privelged.
They laugh and everyone looks at them and then the girl who didn't live up to thier standards.
I look up from my thoughts.
Her smiling eyes catch mine.
I look down.
I used to be them.
No, I used to be her,the ring leader.
too shallow,
i've grown.
I decided to give it all up. Knowing all that,
why do my eyes still fill with envy?
