my promise land

lost and afriad
hoping for death
to come take my hand
and lead me down
to the promise land
where i can rest in the dark
and hide my face
where i can forget thoughts
of love and hate
of the truth and lies
and finally rest in my own demise
but this is just a made up place
where we can rest and feel safe
so go to
where the land burns at my thouch
and flowers bloom from my blood
where life is made by others pain
and we all hurt in our own insane way
where i can finally be
so will you come to hell with me?
