Memorandum
As tears roll down my face
I pull out pen and paper
for tonight I will record
our memorandum
you are all that I need
but you left and I die
you are all I ever think about
I miss you more than anything
passion is what you made me feel
I would have given you everything
my heart doesn't want anybody else
my birthday or Christmas no gift is enough
because your love is what I want
you showed me how much pain I can take
when you broke my fragile heart
but you showed me how love can heal
I'm drowning in the darkness
that you once saved me from
the innocence of love has been broken
and I will never get it back
death is no longer an option
because I am already dead
but now our memorandum is done
and there is no turning back
because of what you've done
my soul and heart are the darkest black

"Some things will never change"---Tupac
I can relate to it, although I can't say that I am the victim.
I love the line "I'm drowning in the darkness
that you once saved me from"
Beautiful.
Keep writing.
