Secret Life
Sneaking around; through that secret life,
I told no one, and for the longest time, just we knew this microscopic utopia
But then, I had to share with friends,
And you felt so betrayed.
I put those troubles behind and tried to move on with you,
But reoccuring nightmares, technologic fights pulled back on me.
I would cry; tell more people about this secret.
I swore them to secrecy, yet one;
Just one had to share with existance.
I watched from afar, as our place of peace burnt and crumbled;
"we" became just "me" and just "you"
I fought to move on; Did you forget the chain that bound me to you?
As you walked forward, there was me dragging behind; head low, crying eyes.
I should've known not to enter that secret,
Because all along, you had her.
I was just a regret
