Teenage Heartbreak
The open field my only freedom from pain
From a prison even flying birds can't escape
The one I call High School
My red short hair can't compete
With the blond haired beauties the guys want to meet
My body is slim but still I cry at night
Because they make me believe I'm a horrile sight
I have not resorted to puking up food
But I've thought about it
Haven't you?
Too many people I know want to end their life
Taking knifes to their wrist at pure midnight
Popping pills and getting high
They say it's the only way to end this lie
Tears stain the page
Darkness covers my pain
No one hears my screams for help
But I must go
I'm sounding too cliche
This is normal
