Silent Suicide

Swallowed pride bottled inside my unbroken silence.
Tears are never absent from my bloodshot eyes.
Unkept emotions piercing through my shattered heart.
Paralyzed with guilt.
My mind is drowning in hatred and regret.
Words are engraved into my empty soul.
My body tingling with anxiety.
Numb of happiness.
The apologies bleed through the paper but the forgiveness effaced.
I will only be remembered for the painted frown on my grief polished face; smothered of untold lies
