Such cold eyes
Such cold eyes
They show me no warmth
No need for understanding how I felt
No need to care about it
Hardened stare
With such cold eyes
Eyes only for me
No one else saw those eyes
That empty glance
with such cold eyes
Oh well what can you do look
Is all I received
Such cold eyes
Looking at me
Without remorse
Those cold eyes turned away
Away from me
And then they’re no longer cold anymore
I was the one
Who saw those cold eyes
Even now
They’re imprinted in my mind
When I mess up
When I cry
When I appear weak
Cold eyes are staring at me
Belittle
I feel worthless under the look
of such cold eyes
Eyes I remember every day
Eyes that never leave me
Such cold eyes
Such cold beautiful eyes
Eyes that are now warm and kind
And have brightened in happiness in front of me
And have glimmered with tears in front of me
And have grown in concern in front of me, for me, because of me
Such warm eyes
That don’t say I am worthless
That thank me for being there
Eyes that see me as someone to keep around
Eyes that truly believe I matter
Eyes that I want to protect
Then such cold eyes
Make me pull away
Even now
Just thinking about those eyes
Such cold eyes
Make me cringe
Make me tear
Because I remember
When those warm eyes
Were not warm for me
They were cold
Such cold eyes
I remember
Because I was the only one to see
Such cold eyes
That stared down at me
