No hope left
No sense in returning
The thick ashes fill my lungs
I look around people are dying
Gunshots, Screams, and Prayers are all near
Everything anyone ever asked for is now gone
Nothing left except the courage to move out
To escape the treacheries we are burdened with
Living our lives at the edge of death
Knowing that one wrong step will lead us to hell
Our imagination will go wild with temptation
Left seldom a human being
One small clot of survival in my heart
Bandages cannot heal the troubles we have faced
I have seen hell and came back

Isn't it ironic? We ignore the ones who adore us, adore the ones who ignore us, love the ones who hurt us, and hurt the ones that love us.

You had me at thick ashes fill my lungs!
