No one grows up
I used to be five spoons full of chocolate in my milk every morning
Now I am four packets of sugar in my tea
I used to be the little mermaid under the sea
Now I am the little scuba diver under the sea
I used to be a 5 hour TV marathon
Now I am a all night book reader
I used to be fairy princess in the woods
Now I am a camp counselor playing in the creek
I used to dance around in my tutu in the house
Now I do it on a stage
I used to be scared of the bunny slope
Now I conquer the black diamonds
I used to be plastic dress up heels
Now I am a six inch red heel
I used to dress up as a Hippy for Halloween
Now I hope to go to Berkeley
I used to go mountain biking in the woods
Now I go Mudding in my little orange jeep
No one ever really grows up
They just find more acceptable ways to play
