The Epiphany
"Oh, well you look nice today."
Is that all you have to say?
A deceptive malice you convey
when it's verbal irony in your "Hey -
oh, well you look nice today"
a voice is weak when it speaks that way
and quite deceptive, if I may
is it so hard, just to say
"Oh, well you look nice today."
In a different tone, a different way
as long as you mean it, it's okay
it's a different message you'll convey
I'll understand you more that way
when our conversations refuse to play
the game of sarcasm; abused today
where a useless deception is used to say
"Oh, well you look nice today."
