Favorite Quote:
Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead. <br /> - Louisa May Alcott.

Pitter, patter goes the rain,
one lone street light leads us onward.
I recall our footsteps splashing through every
puddle.

This is new to me:
you’re new to me.
Every smile, giggle, and laugh...
it’s all so different,
but wonderful all the same.

Looking back on that rainy night,
I know that’s when I realized how I felt.
Me and You. You and Me: our
feelings.

Now I’m frustrated.
It’s all a puzzle that seems impossible to finish.
How can we tell each other how we feel?
When we both seem so frustrated,
with these darn, impossible puzzles?

Once again we’re on a street.
A different kind of street,
a street that leads to our
future.

Can we find a way to the end of this street?
To future love?
To us?
There’s only one way to find out...
we have to take our chances.

Figuring out love and relationships can be so frustrating. This poem is from my own experience, and frustrations.
