The Bark

Soccer players playing soccer in the field
Master and dogs on a walk
Best friends swimming at the beach
Sun shining in the sky

Suddenly, everything was still for the smallest of seconds ---
The wind had become tranquil,
the birds had stopped chirping
The soccer fans stopped cheering

Until one lone bark
that could be heard for miles.
The bark that seemed to have triggered it, The Storm.

They sky cracked and flashed
illuminating the earth
and opening the heavens
Clouds moving and covering the sky
casting the vast black shadow

The waves rolled,
crashing on the shore.
Boats rocked,
The masts were
nearly touching the water

The wind howled
The rain pelted on faces
and the trees swayed
with the beat of the storm

Drop

Drop

Drop
The final drops fell from they sky.
The Storm had left as
suddenly as it had come.

"We all know the people that walk the halls, we all know their in this fight to be the best in life with us, so why to we snare at them, glare, and pass them by without even a friendly smile that says; I'm here for you, we'll be alright." -Myself
