The World Today
when good things don't last,
i consider it to be part of my past
i pretend to go on
as if things are fine
but no one can see
through the things beyond time
clinging to our bodies
slowly sucking out air
leaving us with nothing
except pain and dispair
bodies start dropping
suddenly like flies
the world will start to crumble
and our soul's will all die
dispiration screams
it's on the look of your face
the tears won't stop falling
the only thing you'll taste
say goodbye to the life
you had once before
hopes, dreams, a future
no longer there, gone out the door
the times have changed
no on is really there
we are all merely robots
with blank lonely stares
your arms are tied down
and no you can't go free
there is no way of escaping
these bars that are me
the pain cannot escape
it's merely locked in
goodbye now, you'll die
the price of your sins
