Imitate Me
He's following me. And I'm lost.
Familiar faces crowd around me, but I can't place a single one.
They're talking at me, asking questions a million miles a minute.
I can't remember what they just said, but I answer.
I don't hear my reply; I have no record of it.
I just know it happened.
They know I'm not good with words
So why are they still talking?
He found me.
He's pulling me away from these familiar people.
I'm going back. I don't want to go back.
I can't fight him.
He mumbles something and closes the door.
I'm alone.
So why don't I feel any different than before?
