The Neclace
August 16, 2009, 13dys of living on earth
i look down and touch the gold piece of jewlry that lies on my neck,
waiting patiently to be pssed on.
my mother hnded me this with two pictures of young girls laughing
smiling.
tears filling her eyes, she tells me a purpose.
listen carefully she says,
never loose this. in your hnds lies the past, future and the present.
you shall pass this down and they will know.
slowly i take it, wrap it around me slowly, never forgetting her words.
her heart is now and forever,
on mine.
