Beautiful world to brown.
And we were so in love
You and me, forever we’ll always be together
Isn’t that what you told me?
And I don’t know how you liked me
Just me
And you were so plain to everyone else
But yet, so beautiful to me,
Those plain brown eyes showed me a whole new world filled with color
And i wouldn’t trade it for anything
And we played around
Staying up late sitting on the hood of your car
Sneaking out and getting a little too drunk
And you told me you were leaving,
Going away to the army
You asked me to wait for you
Buti couldn’tdo that. I knew I couldn’t/
And I knew this would be the last goodbye,
As I looked into those brown eyes of yours
What once used to seem so beautiful to me,
Were just,
Brown.
