Thought
Inadequate? Inadequate you say?
And how? How to be adequate?
What is this word that flows
so easily from your lips?
Do you forget your own?
Your faults, desires,
your human impulse?
Do you deny your humanity
for the sake of adequacy?
Am I unacceptable because
I am different than the rest?
Because I do not obey?
Because I have reasons for it?
Because I think?
Yes. Yes, it is the latter.
I think.
And because I think, I am shunned.
Pariah. I can only be acceptable
when I conform. I will not.
Do you think? Do you lose yourself in lucubration,
to find great thoughts, virgin thoughts
appear on the horizon of your mind?
It is what I find.
And for those thoughts I suffer.
They guide me. They free me.
They transform me into an observer.
And the others do not know.
They are blind, I realize.
I see that humans are not all knowing.
We know little but lies.
We comfort ourselves with these lies.
I cannot stand these weak things.
Yet these oppress me.

Fascinating and a very strong point. I loved it. You have an interesting style that definitely helps the poem become more engaging than it would have been without it.
I would really appreciate it if you could check out my work sometime... if you ever get the chance!
