Killing me with words
You stand there,
My back turned to you
And you whisper the things I think in the back of my mind
My insecurities, my fears
My annoying habits
You say I’m a child
I’ll never have love
I’m plastic, fake
I’m horrible and ugly
My hands grow weak
As I try so hard, so hard
Not to cry
I turn to face the window
As thought the rain will hide my tears,
And when I collapse completely out of energy
Energy to ignore you
To stay positive
To convince myself you’re lying
You smile walk away
You’ve defeated me
Destroyed me
You’ve won
Some brother you are, killing me with words
