Glass
Between us,
it sits there,
seperating out thoughts, secrets, and our hearts.
Beautiful, shiney, clear glass,
unbreakable,
but yet wanting to be broken as much as martin luther king wanted equal rights.
My "friends" on the other side,
not noticing me.
I stand there,
pressed against that same old glass day after day,
and day after day i get the same feelings of cold, unloved, hatred.
