War Ensues
Disaster surrounds us
A war here
A massacre there
Never-ending bloodshed
Forever stealing lives
Punishing the innocent
And glorifying the wicked
Demolishing countries
While others put up barriers
To protect themselves
From the horrors that are all to real
Until the barriers are broken
A bomb explodes
A fire erupts
Any sense of security gone
Politicians argue
People cry
Sirens wail
The danger has disappeared
For now
But the worst of war is still to come
