The Challenge
I don't know why I thought I could do better than a friend.
I don't know why I didn't pass your test.
But I will live to survive the next one.
And when you reach for me again, I will stand my ground.
I don't play games.
I refuse to play this one.
I am confident that you will throw down your gauntlet again.
I am confident that you can't resist.
Between a friend and I,
I will prevail.
The reason lies within me.
Willpower, drive, victory
I face a challenge, I rise to defeat it.
You will be no different.
I don't know why I didn't pass your first test.
But the second, will be just another hurdle
In which I can jump with ease
I surive to survive someone else's.
