Fork In the Road
I’ve been heading down a steady path,
A one way street, no need for maps,
Don’t need a compass to lead my heart
Don’t need any graphs when I’ve got the heart
But then there’s a fork in the road
That fork in the road leads to places unknown
Never have ventured so hard from my home
And then I’m looking at path after path
Two choices, but I can’t do the math
Because of that fork in the road
It’s too easy to only have one path to choose
One highway to run on with nothing to loose
To just keep taking things as they come
But if turn back I can always go home
And forget about that fork in the road
Right now the road is winding
Twisting around my future un binding
I don’t really need a reminding
That the difficulties life hand me start to feel like a load
I can handle it
When I get to the fork in the road
