invisible stars twinkle on
day has come
dawn has gone
the sun is up
the moon has faded
and the invisible stars twinkle on
dogs bark
cats meow
cows moo
people yell
and the invisible stars twinkle on
behind the clouds
behind the sun
above the sky
above our heads
the invisible stars twinkle on
even when we can't see them
or the sun makes them fade away
we can know they're there
always watching over us
as the invisible stars twinkle on
