Day After Day
I see you standing there,
Stand so perfectly,
You look my way,
I hid my face,
Of the fear you’ll see my tears,
If only you know the truth,
Why can’t you see it?
It’s hidden in my eyes,
The truth I fear you’ll find,
My face shows my every worry,
But you just walk by without even looking twice.
My smile is masked with all my sorrow,
Yet you don’t even notice how much it pains me to see you day after day,
Without you saying a single word to me,
Just once I wish you would notice me,
Or the tear running down my cheek,
And ask me “Are you okay?”
