You Lied.
You lied.
You told me you’d come see me.
You told me you’d never forget.
But you did.
You lied.
You told me you loved me.
You told me we’d get married.
But we didn’t.
You lied.
You told me we were meant to be.
You told me love would be all we’d need.
Apparently not.
You stopped calling me back.
Your love fell off track.
You forgot,
And we’re not
Us anymore.
It was my heart that you tore.
Now I miss you.
We’re finally through.
I don’t know what to do.
I thought we both knew what we were sent here to do.
To marry each other,
But you’ve found another.
I loved you so much,
But now you’ve forgotten:
The sparks in my touch,
How just one kiss was too much
To handle for us.
But I made you wait.
It wasn’t our fate.
