No one in the doorway,
Waiting for your face,
Loneliness outbreak,
Inhaling absence,
Guttural screaming,
Nausea set to song,
Free to beg,
Let me spiral.
Going out live,
Waiting outside,
Calling your name,
And you let me, when I fade.
Hiding in the basement,
Kissing strangers,
Pounding the walls,
Listening to them crumble.
I shouldn’t have to miss you,
I shouldn’t need you when you aren’t gone,
Pennies on my eyes,
Curses in the jar.
Going out live,
Waiting outside,
Calling your name,
And you let me, when I fade.
