im sorry
I’m sorry mom I should’ve tried.
You know I hate to see you cry
I should’ve stayed away from drugs
I should’ve given you more hugs
I wish I could’ve shown my love
A disappointing gift
That’s all I am, a pile of it.
But the days go on and on
And every time I try I fall
I’m sorry mom I love you lots
Until I lay in the box
When I die
And when I’m gone
I’m sorry but you’re still my mom
