Unforgettable Person Poem
He’s the type of person,
Who will tuck you in at night.
Give you a kiss on your forehead,
As he turns out the light.
He’s the type of person,
Who would take you to the zoo.
Knowing all about animals,
But only caring that he spent the day with you.
He’s the type of person,
Who would give you the shirt off of his back.
If that means he can’t eat out,
Then he’ll just have to pack.
He’s the type of person,
Who can take away all of your fears.
Making you seem extra- important,
While you laugh yourself to tears.
He’s the type of person,
Who can save the lives of others.
While some relax and take a break,
He would rather save a drowning mother.
He’s the type of person,
Who will let you have the last cookie.
Without letting you know it’s the last one,
And considering you the piggy (when he ate most of them.)
But in the end he’s just my dad,
Relieving your tears when you’re sad.
Who I’m proud to say will always be,
My extra-special dad.
