Snowflakes
It sprinkles down from the sky
Like we are the donut on the factory line
Shiny flakes that look like sugar
I look for you, my sweet
We stand on top of the thickening sheet
Your lips graze over mine through the dissolving grains
The white, so pure
Can cover up all the pain
Cool flakes hit my eyelashes
They flutter against your cheek
I can feel your knees go weak
We shake under the streetlight
You pull me close to you
We stand in the pureness
Yearning for the cool flakes
