Hypocrite
You knocked me down a peg this time,
Though I hate it that you have control
I admit I can’t always be right,
But this blow is really taking a toll
Though you were the wrong one,
But now I’m facedown on the ground
You took all my accusations,
And you turned them right back around
No one likes a finger
When it’s pointed directly at you
I don’t like hearing lies,
But I really don’t like hearing the truth
Not wearing a mask,
But I still have two faces
It feels like I’m looking
In all the wrong places
My pride’s never been hurt like this
