Confusion in my mind,
Of what I want to do.
Whether to go or to stay,
Whichever will I chose?

Guilt in my heart,
Of choosing one over the other.
The family of my dad,
Or that of my mother?

Indifference on my face,
May cause you to believe,
To stay here or go there,
Means nothing to me.

Shaking of my knees,
Might give my act away.
Yes, it is all just a front,
But out loud, I will never say.

To go or to stay?
A decision I can’t make,
For in either direction I go,
A heart will always break.

To go or to stay?
A harder question not asked,
Not even Hamlet’s “To be or not to be?”
Can compete with that.


Perhaps I should let fate decide,
And wait here on my bedside,
Looking for some kind of sign,
From the one who is divine.
