The sun outside
is nothing
compared to
the light in your eyes
when
you smile,
laugh
at some random joke
Andrew
just told you.
But
then again
the cold,
hard,
artificial classroom lights
high above our heads
are nothing
compared to
the smile
you give me
that doesn't reach
your eyes
where
that same
cold,
hard,
artificial light
shines.

I wrote this when i was having doubts that my not-yet bofriend didn't like me. After a bad day, you know? But now that I read it again, it sounds more like for a friend...
