Traces of Fear

On the horizon I can see
The roaring mountain of rain and thunder
As I panic in my core and slowly sink into the pit of my soul.
The fear of failure plagues my every thought.
My eyes continually intimidate my stance
And I can no longer maintain the strength to fight.
My eyes open and I embrace the damp crevices of my heart.
Words of wisdom consume my being and my body.
I rest in His peace and allow His words to comfort my timid spirit.
