I Am a Bird

I am a bird, in a flock
Where I am not my own
And, even though I am own of many
I am still alone
And now I want to choose my path
and I know today's the day
but you have tied me down,
and I cannot fly away
Why won't you let me go?
And let me break this tie
Can't you see that this is my chance,
to use these wings to fly?
