Do People Always Leave?

people always leave.
a common phrase known by all
but what does it mean?
that they die or just... depart?
not knowing can break my heart.
to know that some day i will be without your voice
can just send shivers down my spine
but how will i know what it is like
until you really do go away
and then my heart will simply decay
