Midnight Sky
I silently sit in the woods alone
Surrounded by tall, sweet grass and beautiful flowers
The warm breeze engulfs me in the sweet scent of flora
I lay down in the grass as it cushions my body
I look up at the midnight sky
The small graceful clouds swiftly but silently dance
Across the brightly twinkling midnight sky
I sit here wondering what it be like to float along side the clouds
And escape the horrible realities of life
Just for a moment to know what it feels like to be carefree
And live your life the way you want to
but like many I don’t have these pleasure
But there’s always a way to change you life
To the way you want it to be.
