Fear
Scale the wall. Fear is walking beside me.
Fear is always right behind me.
Scale the wall. Fear is pulling me down.
Fear is telling me not to.
Scale the wall. Fear is saying I can't.
Fear is feeding my weaknesses.
Scale the wall.
Fear is my enemy
Managed by the fallen angel
Conquered by the Risen Savior
Hope lies on the other side
Ready to embrace and support
Life's eternal goodness.

The author's comments:
I often find myself scared to do something that I would really like to do, so thinking about how fear was conquered by Jesus makes me feel more reassured about trying new things.
