Falling
Arriving late to death
Because I’m always tardy
Feeling less with a broken heart
A life is a song, barely even started
Running away from your life
Falling into your unmarked tomb
Falling slowly, freezing up, slower than breath
Running slower than possible
When you try to run from death
Never forgetting a single line
Throwing in too many lies
Only the dull ones hide
Cuz we always have a time
Knowing too much is heartache
Loving too much leads to heartbreak
Burning ice to feed the evil
Scratching dirt to feel what’s real
Everyone who thinks they’re smart
Is the biggest fool until it starts
Falling is a pastime
When life will only pass you by
You’re so short when you feel tall
Fading out, a voice so small
Better get running
If you’d like to keep breathing
Cuz falling is a pastime
When the time keeps
Passing you by
