Monsters
Drip, drip
Sickeningly sweet melodies
This addiction
Knows no boundaries
Come now darling
Let's call in
The jury
Surely they can
Sentence this monster
To death
The jury hangs
And with it
Her hope for
Justice
Righteousness
It's not that tough of a shot
To call
after all, this is a monster
We discuss
A vile, stupid creature
Who knows no compassion
Only the steady drip
That symbolizes consistency
And yet, the jury is hung
Because that drip
Is not music to their ears
So darling let's play fair
Everyone harbors a monster inside
Some of us just keep it
Closer to the surface
Where that sounds is more
Appealing
That steady
Drip, drip
