Just How You Left Me
You left me with unexplainable pain
With no one to turn to
Questioning all I've ever known
You left me with absolutely nothing to gain
Grasping at shards of life
Holding onto every shred of hope
You left me crying in the rain
Wondering what I did wrong
And why you had to leave so soon
You left me with an ugly stain
From all the words that scarred me
And the careless demeanor you had about you
You left me, it was all in vain
And now, I'm a disaster, gripping at sanity
So, I'll fall apart without you, destroyed and all alone

I love how you rhymed the first line of each stanza, it really makes the poem flow!
And this is a very relatable poem, for everyone who's struggling and feels like there's no one there for them. I could place myself in the poem. Good job! :)

"In the end, it's still best to wait for the one we want rather than settle for what's available. It's still best to wait for the one you love rather than to settle for the one who's around. It's still best to wait for the right person, because life's too short to waste on the wrong one."
