Confused
You weren't a friend to me.
You were the enemy.
But you weren't the end of me.
I'll be a sacrifice,
Wouldn't that be nice?
Or would I even suffice?
And the stars are screaming your name
And I can't help but think,
Every last fiber's just going to fade, anyway.
Eventually everything just shrinks away.
But I wanted to fade with your hair,
Wanted to shrink in the light of your eyes,
Wanted to die with you by my side the entire time.
I'm just waiting here, hoping dear
That this will turn out better than before.
But I wonder why we fight this war
When we forgot what we're fighting for.
'Cause you don't love me.
You certainly don't love me anymore.
