Art Is Stupid and Pointless
Art is stupid and pointless.
Like the piece of gum relentlessly bonding my shoe to the floor mat.
There is no meaning behind A.B.C. gum.
Whatever looks beautiful is art.
But beauty always fades and leaves an ugly shadow of the past.
Beauty is stupid and pointless.
Like the mold growing on the old lemon in my locker.
There is no meaning behind moldy lemons.
Whatever pleases the eye is beautiful.
But eyes are insensitive and can be touched without wincing.
Eyes are stupid and pointless.
Like the broken hinge on my new green sunglasses.
There is no meaning behind broken hinges.
My land is empty.
