Trusting
We trust
We depend
On things not so trustful
Or dependable
We watch the sun rise,
but will it come back tomorrow?
We depend on its warmth, its ability to give light
but if it doesn't return tomorrow, do we have a plan? Do we know what to do? Or are we too trustful?
We trusted the bird to fly and find land,
but what if it didn't?
Would the world still be filled with water?
We depend on the rain, to grow food
But what if the rain never comes?
Will we starve?
We trust
We depend...
but is it trustful?
