Creating monsters everyday
Full of plastered on smiles and road kill
Describe your white picket fences and two car garages
Cracked sidewalk, Broken back
“Let’s keep up appearances, Billy”
Ride your bike through the land mines
Sprinkler systems never fail after a long rain
TV dinners and discrete police beatings
Just remember to plant your flowers
Put the flag out
Spit on the ground.

The imagery used in this poem makes the reader feel as though they are looking at the world through the author's eyes; very transcendental.
